Lap-Band

I'm having trouble sleeping tonight... Tomorrow is my appointment with Dr. Feiz for my Lap-Band consultation. I'm scared and excited. These past few days have been a reality check about my weight. Went to the movies and had a hard time fitting in between the arm rests, my knees ache even when laying down and every single piece of clothing fits snug. The snug part I've gotten used to but, my knees can't hold my weight any longer. I'm afraid I will ruin them for good. I was cleaning out a drawer a few days ago and I pulled out a bunch of clothes from 10-12 years ago... Thank god I did not toss them yet, I'm keeping a pair of work out pants as my motivation for the new me. First step!

Day 1

Dragged my self to the gym today. I hate it when this happens. I skipped the gym for 2.5 weeks and now it's hard to get there. My 8 weeks straight down the drain. Back to day 1 ;(

RIP Steve Jobs

There might be many smart phones and many new smart pads but, the one that started it all was Steve Jobs. The iPhone and the iPad changed the way we use technology. Thank you Steve for all the innovation and for changing my life. Rest in peace.

Glow in the dark

Tonight was back to school night at VMHS. Erick had been carrying around a pack of glow sticks and pulled them out when it started getting dark. He's funny, he then went and shared them with his buddies.

Photoshop lessons.

In this photo I tried to fix the noise that was created by scanning and changed the color to sepia. 

 In this photo I created a copy layer, made the copy black & white, and used the erase button to erase from the black and white layer to expose the color in the original picture. 

Sleepovers

 Had a few of Erick's friends over for a sleep over, movie night.... and Victoria had her first sleep over away from home. She spent the night with her friend Kaily and...
 I SURVIVED!!! 

Then today I took all the boys and Victoria to John's Incredible Pizza Co. Luckily my nephew Gianni was able to join us after school and football practice. My mom, my MIL and my SIN also joined us so I had a little company. We had TONS of fun and the boys really enjoyed themselves.
